Esmetara

Esmetara Sima has been working in “LIFE FOR A CHILD” programme as a Diabetes Educator of Bangladesh Diabetes Somity(BADAS) since 2009. She has completed her M.Sc and B.Sc. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Rajshahi University. She also completed professional masters in speech and language pathology from Dhaka university. She is a vastly experienced Education specialist having experience with the enormous involvement in trainings, Diabetes Educations and pediatric diabetes management. She attended many national and international training on pediatric diabetes management as well as attended in international conference and diabetes camp. She also involved in type 1 diabetes related research activities. She is playing pivotal role in collecting patient data to monitor health status and proactively manage the patient’s condition. Being a Diabetes Educator she facilitates skill development and behavior modification so that the patient is able to successfully manage the diabetes as this is a lifelong diseases.
